Game Dev Godot 4.6

YAKO / 夜行

A PS1-style, first-person, non-verbal walking game built in Godot.

YAKO is a PS1-style walking game. A girl who ran away from home walks a midnight Japanese street, and the night tells her story.

About the Game

A nameless high-school girl has been gone for at least two days. Her phone has no credit left. She walks.

Engine: Godot 4.6 (Forward+, Jolt Physics) · Look: PSX-era low-poly, 320×240 with dithering and vertex snap · Gameplay: first-person exploration + small NPC encounters. No jumping, no combat.

Aimed at a space in the Taylor's Mental Wellness Campaign, October 2026.
